For the very first time, presenting, Shankar Mahadevan in KALEIDOSCOPE, musical heritage of India.A journey through various musical genres depicting Indian classical, folk and Bollywood music. A world fusion experience with Shankar singing with renowned folk artists presenting their authentic music interpreted in a modern platform. An evening of versatility, diversity and creativity through music to enthrall the multicultural audience of Singapore.

The concert, which reaches beyond boundaries of language and even religion, through music, is a curtain raiser for the much awaited Indian Heritage Centre in Singapore. This endeavor will submerge souls and minds of music lovers and they can rejoice in the rich cultural heritage glory of India. 

Speaking on the concert, Shankar, the star performer who has charmed audiences with the magic of his captivating voice for over two decades says, "We will feature a unique presentation of some specially created compositions on the theme. I am hoping that the songs will magically create the feeling of tremendous joy”. 

Not only is the line-up going to include Classical, Carnatic, Hindustani, folk and Semi-Classical compositions, it will also feature other genres of musical traditions such as Qawwalis, Thumris, Abhangs as well as Bollywood, Jazz and Rockelements which will take us on a magical and inspirational journey of India. Shankar will be accompanied by extremely talented folk singers along with a group of highly skilled musicians on Flute, Tabla, Guitar, Keyboard and other instruments.
