Thisaivegam [Velocity], Festival of Tamil Dramas
Pugalenthii’s Bantham and Uthayasurian will be featured during this Festival. In addition, winning plays of Kalakkal Competition 2013 will also be taking part. Furthermore, a few more winning plays of other drama groups and organizations will also be staged in this event, such as Singapore Indian Artistes Association (Kalaignar Sangam) and Nanyang Technological University. There will be more than 10 plays being showcased in this 4-day period and all plays will have English subtitles. Thisaivegam is organized by Athipathi International Theatre Limited and Ivann’s Theatre. The projects Directors are Mr.Pugalenthii and Mr. Nara SNV. This mammoth event is going to be a success because of the man-hours put in by many volunteers who believe in our artists and Tamil dramas. We need your support.
This comedy drama was the winner in 1995 drama competition. Ramasamy the husband is displeased that his wife is neglecting to support him in his work commitments as she is concentrating on social service. He meets Mr Srinivasan and his wife who come to their house to present their daughter’s wedding card. Volunteerism benefit’s a single person but uplifts their whole family.
This comedy showcases on the values taught in school that will help one if he carries on the values and discipline later in their life.  These values include the 5 Core SEL (Social Emotional Learning) Competencies; namely Self-Awareness, Social Awareness, Self-management, Relationship management and Responsible Decision Making. The engaging and witty dialogues in the drama will rock the audiences, making them laugh and think at the same time.
Yemathey Yemathrathey
This comedy staged by the Singapore Indian Artistes Association (Kalaignar Sangam) has been staged in Singapore and overseas. Honesty is a virtue. Trying to be cunning and crooked will bring one to shocking end. The twist and turn of the drama will make the audience laugh.
Kaelvi Kuri – Singapore Indian Artiste Association 
A man at the edge of life wants to commit suicide. All the bonds which have been holding him to the society has gone apart. As he stands there, he recollects all of the bonds which kept him alive. The community needs us as much as we need the community. – Yishun Town Primary
Yamalogam has gone haywire with their data mining system. A culprit who has been cursed to go to hell is appointed as a troubleshooter and she causes more trouble. It is a hilarious play.
Thoki – Marymount Convent Primary
A tale of two sisters showcasing the bond they have with the environment. The trees, the birds the animals, and the nature at large. As they journey through, the elder sister learns a valuable lesson when a mishap falls on her.
Sangnila Uthaman – Shu Qin Primary School
A mythological tale of the finding of Singapore. A bond between nature and man and the bond between man and his ancestorship. Dramatised in a lively and entertaining manner.
